Ozone Socks is one of our favorite online sock stores, and their sock subscription is a simple way to receive high quality socks in the mail each month. Often people arrive at SockClubs looking for reviews of the different sock of the month clubs available to them, so below is a video review of Ozone Socks that we thought you’d find useful!
Nothing is better than being an entrepreneur and starting your own successful business. The rewards are immense — you get financial gains, the freedom of being your own boss, and the pride of building something that makes an impact on the world.
eCommerce has opened up a whole new wave of opportunities for entrepreneurs, and one businesss that has emerged as successful is Sweden-based Happy Socks. We’ve written about them several times here on Sock Clubs, since Happy Socks are delivered in several of the sock of the month clubs we discuss, including Say it with a Sock.
One of our favorite quotes from the article showcases how they focus on the “fun” theme for their sock business:
From the outset, the philosophy was about being fun. “People smile when they see our products and hear our name. Feet are funny,” Söderlindh adds. “With Happy Socks you get a smile, great design, and good quality at a democratic price.”
It’s great to see a new company disrupt a traditionally boring industry of socks! Try out Say it with a Sock to get Happy Socks delivered to your door!
Hot Sox is an online sock store that delivers fun, fashion socks for men and women. Although they don’t have a sock of the month club, we’ve talked about Hot Sox several times here on SockClubs and we are fans of their colorful patterns and designs. Here are some offers to use in December 2017 for Hot Sox:
One of the more fascinating sock design categories that Ozone offers is their Witch’s Garden collection. This sock category is popular and there are several patterns available within their Witch’s Garden sock collection.
What inspired Ozone Socks to release this collection of fun and mystical patterns? According to their blog post that gives the story behind the designs:
The botanical aficionados we are, the design team at Ozone was fascinated by the plants that played a large role in the folklore surrounding witchcraft.
We’ve written about Joy of Socks before as a great online sock site for buying fun, crazy, and cool socks. As the holidays come around, we thought an annual reminder about the available socks on Joy of Socks would be important!
What holidays should you wear some of the wacky and fun Joy of Sock patterned socks for?
October is Halloween Sock month. Joy of Socks has several spooky designs to keep your feet scary this Halloween — including “Witch on a Broom” socks for Women, and “Halloween Batnado” socks for Men.
November is Thanksgiving Sock month. On the Joy of Socks website, you can find some trendy and patriot Thanksgiving socks including “Pilgrim Bear Socks” for women and “Turkey Party Fowl Socks” for men.
And December is Christmas Sock month. Men’s designs include “Gingerbread Break a Leg” socks and for women there are “Christmas in July” Socks.
If you plan on having a boring holiday season, we definitely don’t recommend you buy socks from Joy of Socks. But if you are looking for some fun and cool footwear, there is no better site than Joy of Socks!
Sock Talk is a simple concept — a pair of socks for $6.99 that make a statement. Each pair of Sock Talk socks comes with printed words on each sock. This is a great idea for many different occasions such as weddings, gifts for friends and co-workers, or for the holidays. They have funny sayings, romantic words, sports themed socks, and more. And Sock Talk carries socks for both men and women.
What are some example Sock Talk sayings? They include “I love my Wife” or “Fantasy Football” for men, and “Baby Bump” or “Mom Life” for women.
Sock Talk doesn’t yet have a subscription sock of the month club, but you can very easily order many pairs of socks to keep your sock drawer inspired!
When it comes to socks, Scandinavia isn’t the first place that comes to mind as the global headquarters for sock design. However, iZ sock may change that opinion — its socks are designed in Scandinavia.
Promising “socks in balance” — combining reason, quality, comfort, and durability. iZ Socks also claims to be the “world’s most boring brand” with socks that are simple black colors and the product that nobody talks about, but everybody uses.
Started as a result of a bet in 2014, iZ socks is based in Denmark but also ships to the US and Canada. iZ socks has Bamboo Socks, Cotton Socks, and Woolen Socks. Depending on how you purchase, a pair of socks from iZ socks starts at $5 and goes up from there.
iZ Socks is yet to launch a subscription sock of the month club, but they do offer a membership program that gives you a discount on your purchases (similar to a loyalty program).
Looking for a taste of Scandinavian feet? Try out iZ socks!
Occasionally, we love to highlight interesting socks that we find across the internet. Sock of the month clubs are great, but some sites just make it simple and fun to buy socks online.
Enter LookHUMAN — an all things awesome site for apparel. Their online site features t-shirts, hoodies, pullovers, one-pieces (for babies), and more. However, the area of the site that we love the most is their sock selection (and of course, we are biased!)
What does LookHUMAN offer for buying socks online? Pretty much every fun and cool pair of socks you can think of. They have funny socks, cute socks, nerdy socks, political socks, holiday socks, and more — the list goes on and on.
Some of our favorite pairs of socks that they offer: Ruth Bader Ginsburg socks (honoring the supreme court judge), Guacamole pattern socks (honoring the supreme avocado), and It’s Wine Time socks (honoring the supreme beverage).
Today I opened my mailbox to see my favorite blue package of late (from Say it with a Sock), however, I carried it to my apartment with bittersweet emotions. On the one hand, I’ve loved every moment of receiving this subscription, but on the other, my 3 month subscription duration is over. But I digress….
I opened up my blue package to find a corresponding pair of blue socks with a smattering of colorful geometric triangles. This pair of socks is by the brand Richer Poorer. In comparison to my last two pairs, these are not nearly as wild or cute, but they are most certainly still bright and fun. I like these as a
*Side note: when you sign up for socks on the Say it With a Sock website, you have the option to choose “graphic socks, ” “pattern socks,” or “both”. I selected both, which is why I think I’ve gotten the full range of what you would define as “fun socks.” However, if you know that you prefer shapes and patterns over foods and animals (or vice versa), then I would definitely suggest being more selective in choosing what types of socks you’d like to receive.
Overall I’m so happy I received this subscription. (Oh and full disclosure, I just emailed them to let them know I want to continue receiving socks on their “monthly” plan).
